Course: LA301
Title: "Technology and Foreign Language Learning: How can I create a technology supported project-based learning unit for foreign language learners?"
Author: Trena Paulus
Course Fee: $250.00
Credits: 2 graduate credits available
Instructor: LTTS Facilitator
Abstract: Learning a new language centers on developing the ability to communicate competently with others in the target language. Finding authentic contexts and opportunities for communication can be difficult when students are in class for only a short time each week. Project-based learning activities, supported by Internet and email technology, can provide meaningful learning environments to increase language input, interaction and use. These activities can help students access authentic materials, engage in interaction with native speakers and enhance their foreign language experience. In this course you will design a technology-supported project-based unit for students who are learning a foreign language.
