| Abstract: |
Learning about foreign cultures can be very challenging without access to authentic and up-to-date resources. The Web provides many good resources about foreign cultures that teachers can take advantage of. By creating a WebQuest, a teacher can guide students through valuable, interesting and authentic resources that will help them learn about various cultures. In this course, you will design a Cultural WebQuest and align it to local, state and national content standards. You will learn how to write a WebQuest, how to choose and incorporate good resources and how to create a learning experience that will raise your students' cultural awareness and interest in other countries and cultures. |
